That is (genuinely) amazing. Great example

No HDMI 2.1, no hardware raytracing.
    Disappointing.

Navi is an allright card, but roughly the same performance at roughly the same price as an Nvidia RTX 2060/2070 doesn’t cut it.

And Nvidias cards are a year old at this point and a node shrink bigger.

Navi is an allright card, but not the savior that Radeon needs at this point.

V900 not really.. at the moment.. how many games even use ray tracing ?? not worth the price of admission to get an RTX card.... they are WAY to expensive...

and definitely no point in buying into RTX for the 2000 series unless you're an developer.
RTX3000 and it might be a selling point if performance increases enough.

This is the point so many people seem to be missing / are deliberately trying to talk past. RTX 2000 series is basically dev hardware being marketed to gamers.

spunjii... yep... but the same could be said for most of the new features nvidia and amd/ati have added over the years to their cards.. 1st gen.. dev hardware, 2nd gen, usable performance.. transform and lighening way back when was like that ....

Much better choice than a 2060 at least.

Yawn. These cards probably comparable to their Nvidia counterparts at 1080p while consuming more power. Same old story. It doesn't have ray tracing hardware. Launch price going to drop pretty fast.

Navi was probably designed around the consoles so it didn't need to be all that competitive. Consoles are propped up by smoke and mirrors. How else can one convince the public to accept Jaguar CPUs for gaming?
