Following last week's release of Radeon Software 16.3 Hotfix, AMD is back again with a quick update to their driver set, bringing it to 16.3.1 Hotfix.

The list of resolved issues this week is brief compared to the last few months of updates. Among the resolved issues is a problem where installed and played games were not showing up in the Radeon Settings “Gaming” tab. Meanwhile a hang in Unreal Engine 4 games has been fixed, along with issues installing the Radeon Software driver set via command line. Lastly, AMD notes that DirectX 12 applications are no longer locked to the refresh rate of the display.

Alongside these fixes there is also driver support for the new Need for Speed, and a Crossfire profile update for Hitman.

As always, those interested in reading more or installing the updated hotfix drivers for AMD’s desktop, mobile, and integrated GPUs can find them either under the driver update section in Radeon Settings or on AMDs Radeon Software Crimson Edition download page.

C'mon, still no fix for the xfire flickering in The Division?

That flickering is in a lot of games, its a major bug they don't seem to want to fix or can't.
Will be going back to Nvidia if they don't fix.

Does Nvidia have this type of flickering in SLI when a profile is not defined in their drivers? I have crossfire 290s but am considering going Nvidia next time around because of multi-gpu support seems to be better on Nvidia. It seems like multi-gpu support is just going away on both sides. I hope dx12 alleviates this...

Nvidia suffers more from micro stutter, but that can be overcome with a powerful pair of sli cards and/or higher refresh rates with vsync on. Either way it's still less annoying that flicker. I was so disappointed with my recent R9 380 crossfire setup and actually went back to my old 770's in SLI until Pascal comes along, unless AMD finally fixes the stuttering issue. My R9 380's, fortunately, sold on eBay for what I paid. I should have never even bothered giving AMD a chance but nvidia needs competition or we will all be screwed.

    This is still beta, right?

Fallout 4 is still a mess. I'm sitting here with 2 ASUS STRIX R9 390s and can't even play Crossfire on a 5+ year old gaming engine.

I never bother with sli or crossfire. Just get one high end card and be done with it.
